The Congress government in the state is going to take a big step like the launch of a public relations portal on September 13. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot will launch the state government’s Dream Project Public Relations Portal at Birla Auditorium at 10.30 am on Friday morning. The public relations portal will provide information to 13 departments of the state.

The relief news for the people is that in order to get the information of these 13 departments, people will not have to visit these departments and they will not have to set up RTI as the information will be available on the portal without asking for information and just one click. All the information will be easily available to the people.

In fact, the reason behind the launch of such a portal is that the government was receiving complaints about who was given and how many were given through the government benefit department or scheme. It was only known in the files of the authorities. Whether it was the benefit of free medicine or the benefit of ration, who got it, the amount of loan waiver that the farmer received was not known in general.

A team of 15 officers from civil society and DOIT has developed the portal in eight months. Through this portal, people can also lodge their complaints online while sitting at home. Rajasthan Liaison Centres have also been set up at Gram Panchayats, Panchayat Committees and District level to lodge complaints online.

Information about these departments on the portal
The public relations portal will provide information on departments such as Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Department of Medical Health and Family Welfare, Department of Administrative Reforms, Food and Civil Supplies Department, Tribal Regional Development Department, Forest and Energy.
